Rates & Insurance
We want the financial side of therapy to be clear before you begin. Rates, insurance participation, and employer benefits can vary by clinician and service.
Private-pay therapy rates

| Couples counseling 90-minute session | $250 |
Couples intensives and premarital counseling packages may have separate rates. Please ask about the specific service and clinician you are considering.
Insurance and employee benefits
Our Shared Path works with commercial insurance plans and employer-sponsored behavioral health programs. Depending on the clinician, participation may include:
- Independence Blue Cross / Keystone Health Plan East
- Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield
- Aetna
- Cigna
- UnitedHealthcare / Optum
- Geisinger
- Spring Health
- Lyra Health
Not every clinician participates in every plan. Please confirm your therapist’s participation and your specific benefits before scheduling. Copays, deductibles, authorization requirements, and covered services vary by plan.
Couples counseling and insurance
Coverage for couples and relationship therapy depends on your plan and the reason for treatment. In some situations, sessions may be covered when treatment is medically necessary and billed through one partner’s behavioral health benefit. Couples intensives and certain other relationship services are private pay.

Payment and cancellations
Payment is due at the time of service unless other arrangements have been made. We accept major credit and debit cards, as well as HSA and FSA cards for eligible services.
Please cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours in advance. Late cancellations and missed appointments may be subject to a $75 fee. Insurance does not cover cancellation or no-show fees.
